A Lesson in Laundry/A Lesson in Thankfulness

Why is it when we buy cheap to save cash, we then can't wait to get "cheap" all used up so next time we can get the "good stuff"?

There's nothing wrong with this, it's just not my favorite.  At the time, the "good stuff" had gone up to $8.  This was around $5.  But every time I have to do a load of laundry, I catch myself counting down to when I can buy the "good stuff" again.  I guess the flip side of this would be Thankfulness.  Thank God I have laundry detergent so I can do the wash.  It was as I was writing this out, Father showed me how much I had been grumbling and complaining.  Yes, I am thankful to not be covered up in dirty laundry, and so glad that for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.  Maybe there's a message in there somewhere...

  1. It is definatly enough to be thankful for.Look at the bright side..even if your laundry don't get clean at least it should smell good.
